The majority of dirt bikes are simply functional and not that nice looking
but Huskys really shine in that department.

All Huskys from last years are simply gorgeous...but if i had a Husky
i replace the front fender...it is ugly ! I instead use the front
fender of a AJP which is simply the best looking (and very functional)
ever front fender (IMHO), FWIW, AJP front fender is made by UFO.
IIRC, there was a year in which Huskys had a nice front fender but they
gone back to that RM/CR/KX styless type of front fender that i hate.

Other nice looking dirt bikes are '00 and '02 KTMs (dont like '01s),
'00-'02 Husabergs, KLX300...and of course, the AJP ;-)

1-Huskys (but need new front fender)
2-AJPs
3-KTMs
4-Husaberg (they could take 3rd place if they had a better color scheme).
5-KLX300

I agree. I've never owned a Husky, but I think the best looking bike
ever is the first year 610 with the dual exhausts. Guess it was around
94. That bike is gorgeous.

I also think the TM's are pretty with the anodized rims and fat round
tube perimeter frame.

Take it back a decade to red with chrome and you have my vote. Or toaster
tank Hodakas... Or certain Ossas (Stilleto? MAR?)... The stoic strength
that exudes from every quarter of a Jawa Six-Day... A chrome-tank, radial
head, trailing-link fork DKW... The Elsinore.. And someday I must own a
CL450, a CB350 and a CT70. Oh yes... and there *is* this Matchless G80 I
saw in a picture once... Maybe that G80.

I agree, the mid-70's red and chrome tank 250 Husky's. The way the bike
looked, along with Burleson's string of enduro titles, made me want one
forever.

Does anyone know where we can see some pictures of these bikes on the web?
The talk about the Hodaka's, Ossa's and chrome tank Husky's (I had two of
them) makes me nostalgic for the period in the early 70's when I first
started riding as a teen.

Never mind. I did some searches and have been enjoying looking at some
early 70's dirt bikes I haven't thought about in years. Great fun!

Been waiting for Levy's new Gas Gas to show on my server's A.B.P.M.
it hasn't and probably never will. Someone please copy it and email the
picture to me. I'll judge for myself and report back if it's really the "Best
Looking Dirtbike Ever?"

Cool...thanks. How do these bikes run, as a rule? Do you see bikes out
there like this riding in the vintage class?

1979 MX100. White and black, sitting in the corner of my parent's

smelling of premix if you get close enough to remember.

I have a good friend with tha Ossa 250 SDR (Six Day Replica) that is
beautiful.

Don't forget these classics:

these that's been professionally restored by Vintage Iron.

Don't forget the beautiful Bultaco's (Pursangs and Stiletto's and

I recall the Ossa Stiletto, I owned one, I bought it new. Then I
bought a new Ossa PHantom. Bultaco did indeed market the PUrsang.

So which is it? www.ahrma.org or www.ahrma.org? I wish to be
informed.
