Won't a regular Acerbis rear fender fit (isn't it called a "rally" or
something)?

For more top end, this motor (and the 200 also) needs to be ported. Sorry.
The man to do it is Jeff Fredette of Fredette Racing. The good news is that
his prices are reasonable, and he knows the KDX inside and out. His number is
708-946-0999.

Actually, to keep the strong low end and still open up the top quite a bit I'd
recommend the FMF K-35 TORQUE Pipe. The Rev pipe will shift the power higher
but lose too much of that low end the KDX is famous for. You'd be very happy
with the K-35. and then a PowercoreII silencer will be the cherry on top!

Don't know 'bout the fender and number plate though.

Good Luck,
James

Actually, Maier makes an aftermarket fender for the KDX, and it doesn't
have a taillight. It does have a flat area on the top of the fender
("enduro style fender") where you can mount a tool bag.

I got my fender from Jeff at MX South. I'm sure he can get you one too.
