Well, I blacked out my new putt. I am waiting for my black headlight
shell, for the moment I have the black number plate in it's place.

That KTM's sweet-looking in black! Where did you get the black plastic
for the new bike? I may go "stealthy" as well....Thanks.

It is Acerbis. The shrouds came with the KTM logo embossed into the
plastic just like the stock ones.

Hey David:

That thing have a 19" rear wheel? Maybe it's just a smaller tire.

I thought Halloween wasn't until October though :-)

Where did you get the Air box stickers (or are they factory)?

No, it's the stock 18" Bridgestone 100-100/18. Might just be the angle
of the dangle in the photo with the bike leaning over.

It's never too early to get your costume together. <G>

Just curious why you have something under the kickstand.

Yea, I think that's what I'm gonna put on mine. It looks good and is alwo
pretty tough.

Trying to get it up a bit straighter for the photo, I should have used
a 2x4 instead of a piece of 3/4".....

Looks great David. You should consider a black seat cover as well. I have
just placed an order for a '02 520 EXC (all '01 are sold out and the first
'02 will be delivered in September) in KTMs racing black with black rims.
Just like this:

http://www.tihlde.org/~chrisnes/520RacingBlack.jpg

It's original KTM aftermarket parts:
http://www.ktm.at/inshop/shop/produkte.asp?ID_Mietdaten=86&ID_ProduktKat=114
&kat=0:67:114

And I'll have a pair of black 17" wheels for supermotard and for
"mickey-mouse" roads. Gonna be a real bad boy and eat "R" bikes for
breakfast!

Dunno boys,

prefer the orange with the black and grey trimmings myself. I bought a
2001 400 exc three weeks ago and had my first real hard out ride on it
over the weekend.

I thought the DR400 that I had was a quantam leap from an XR 250 but
the KTM is a real bike.

cheers

I agree on the seat cover, I have a '00 cover (all black) on the way.
