The specs on my '89 KDX200 said 223 pounds dry. I drained the gas
tank, fully aware that oil in the forks, shock, and transmission
would add some poundage. With an empty tank, the scale read 247 pounds.
They are lying.
My brothers RMX lists at 230 and weighs 245.
My '94 KX125 lists at 191 pounds dry. With fluids and an empty tank,
the scale reads 203. I never believe the weights in any specs on
bikes.
