Acerbis makes a .8 and a 1.3 gallon tank that fits over the front fender
between the forks. Your cross bar shouldn't interfere with it at all.

I've seen a few riders in Baja with a front number plate that held extra
gas. Didn't get the make or model but one was on a Honda CR500 and KX250
(both 2 strokes that needed the extra gas for the longer between fill up
rides).
