Hi can any one help? I have IJNs Kuma and Katroi, what colour is "deck
grey" and "tan" I use humbrol paints but the tamiya ref will do

In the Sept/Oct issue of the IPMS Journal (USA), Rusty White wrote an article
on painting realistic wood decks. He likes ModelMaster Wood (color 17350) out
of the bottle, (perhaps toned down just a little a with camo. grey added) for
1/700 scale ships. For the large models, he goes into detail about how to paint
realistic looking decks. Good article, but he mis-identifies Testor's Deck
Brown for the actual MM Wood. His e-mail address is sh...@aol.com.
