Best places aren't in Seattle exactly; in Skyway (near Renton) is Skyway
Model Shop. In Lynnwood (suburb to the NE) are Galaxy and Hobbytown. All
three are excellent.
In Seattle proper, American Eagles is the only large one, but it's
probably the highest priced with the least customer support. I've vowed to
not spend another dime there.
There's also Don's Hobbies; it's a smallish shop near the University
Village in Seattle. There's also a collectible store that has some
interesting old kits in the Ravenna area of Seattle. Sorry I can't recall
the name of that one.
There used to be many more, but they've gone away for the most part.

Skyway hobbies in Renton is the best place I've found so far. They've
got a web page at http://www.skywaymodel.com. Most of the other shops
I've found deal with models AND something else, usually RC, or
something else AND models.
