Help, please??? I realize this is not a model questin, but modle builders
always seem to know so much about materials (specifically paints). I am
going to be doing a lot of plaster figure painting with children in an
environment which I would really like to keep clean. I've been searching
for a paint with the following characteristics: (1) non-toxic; (2) after
a primer is applied, will stick to the plaster (stick to the primer); (3)
will wash off ceramic tile tables and latex floors pretty easily (with
soap and water); and (4) hopefully will wash out of children's clothing.
I can't seem to find anything but acrylic water-based paints, but they
stick solidly to just about everything after they dry. I know I can use
Goof-Off to get the paint off of just about anything, but I'd really like
to use a paint that will wash out with soap and water. Is there some
miracle paint around that I'm missing? Maybe a water-color that has
really vibrant colors and can be protected after it's applied with a
spray glaze? I realize I can simply put down newspaper and plastic on
the floor and use acrylics but for reasons I can't go into at the moment
that isn't practical for me :(
I don't read this board so often so if you can help me, please drop me a
line at Bac...@aol.com.
Thanks very much for any help!!
Larry
