The gun noses were the Mk.II(nightfighter, with Mk.IV radar)
Mk.VI (Fighter-bomber)
Mk.XII,XII,XVI and XiX (Nightfighter, varied
radar installations)
The English firm of Paragon is currently introducing a group of resin
conversions to make some of these versions out of the Revell kit.

I concur with the above Mk info. The VI being a marrage of the nose/canopy
of the II
and the bomb capacity of the IV.
A conversion kit ??!??. Gonna need to be a real hum-dinger to be
accurate. The II and VI had the 4x20mm pack underneath and the shape of the
lower fuselage cross section was altered to accomidate it. Also the canopy
was flat fronted in the II/VI, pointed in the IV. Engine nacells/wing matings
were also changed. The engines were dropped down several inches in the II,
producing a different contour on the wing top.
Something in my head also says that the rudder was fabric covered in the IV
and wood in the II and IV??
Might as well come out with a new kit.

Now, if only they'd complete the job and do corrected rear nacelle
sections!
Hope this helps

This stuff is absolutely wonderful, in my opinion.
FWIW, Paragon also produces excellent conversion sets that allow us to
build a prototype, Mk.VIII or Mk.IX from Haseagawa's 1/32 Spitfire Mk.Vb
kit.

If you do a fighter version, then the cockpit has to be modified also.
Specifically, the PR and B Marks had a yoke instead of a stick, for the
pilot's control. That was in keeping with Fighter Command's requirements
for it being a "fighter." There are numerous reports that pilots actually
preferred the yoke style control because of the additional leverage it gave
them.
