Went to my to the best local hobby shop I used to know - Northstar Hobbies
in Mississauga, Ont., and there it was... GONE! Anyone local know any
details about this? I assume it was due to low sales. If so, it's a shame
because it was a pretty well stocked store. I suppose there's a small
chance they've moved, but the grey paper up on the windows didn't have a new
address on it. They also used to have a web page, but that's disconnected
too...

It is still in business but it moved a few blocks east. The website is
still going as well:

http://www.northstarhobbies.com/

Their new address can be found here as well.

Hi:

Actually, Northstar is very much alive and well. They've just moved two
blocks east, into a much larger store.

As for their website, they do have one, but the URL changed awhile ago.
Don't have the new one close to hand, but I imagine it would be a fairly
simple matter to find their site by doing a search.

Hope this helped,

Dave

The store has actually moved to a bigger location. It is several blocks
east of the old location on the north side.

Check out my web page for the addresss, Tel No and web page

So my rumour of Northstar's death is greatly exaggerated. My apologies to
Northstar for not phrasing the note & header a little better. I'll be
wearing dark shades and a fake mustache next time I go in. 'Hate it when
this happens...
