FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 15, 2000

South Lake Tahoe, CA (ROL Newswire) -- Shadow Composites, Inc. is pleased to
announce the release of their newest kit - The SPRINT~ABM! This kit is an
exciting departure from the everyday TFNC kits you see: a 1/12th scale model
of the SPRINT Anti-Ballistic Missile.

The features of this unique new kit include:
o 27" long X 4.5" wide at the base
o Pre-printed main shroud body with Nomex paper liner
shrouds
o Basswood conical nose cone
o 15" zero-porosity chute with our new "stretch kevlar"
shock cord and all hardware
o Lite Ply centering rings and Finnish birch ply fins,
all pre-cut
o 1/4" balsa fin stand-off stock
o Quality kraft main airframe tube, thrust ring, and
stainless motor retainer clip
o Detailed step-by-step instruction book
o SPRINT~ABM history and fact booklet

The SPRINT~ABM is optimized for performance on the D12-5 motor, but will
accommodate virtually any 24mm motor with careful nose weighting. The kit
comes packed in a rugged box packaging, no flimsy plastic bags here! And the
SPRINT~ABM sells for just $35.00, our most inexpensive kit to date!

You can view the SPRINT~ABM at our new, updated website at:

http://www.shadowaero.com/

Be sure to check out the new page covering the TRINITY all carbon Level 3
advanced technology demonstrator rocket, set to fly at BALLS 10, September
29, 2000.

Also, our FREE KEVLAR deal is still in effect, while supplies last, or until
5/1/00, whichever comes first, so act fast! Check out the specials page on
the website for more info.

Thanks for your continued support!

Sounds like an oxymoron.

Hi Andy - Sounds that way, doesn't it! Of course, Kevlar by nature
doesn't stretch, but this cord is an unusual loose braid in which the
kevlar strands which make up the braid don't stretch, but the material
as a whole does because of the way it is constructed. I'll send you a 1'
sample if you like! Just send me your mailing address (don't tell
everybody I'm giving away samples - I'd go broke providing them!) - Best
Regards - Shadow Composites, Inc.

Dave unfortunately you just told everyone by posting that message to RMR
instead of to Andy privately... Sounds the same as the nylon stuff I have
very loose weave so that the whole cord maybe stretches 5-10% when a good
tug is put to it.

Dave,
I have 240 friends who would like a 1 inch sample too. To make it simple for
you, you can just send me a 20' cord and I "promise" to cut it into 1" bits
for the samples. ;-)

But seriously, I will send a free sample to interested parties, but now you'll
have to send me a SASE! It is very interesting stuff, and has worked well for
me in testing, so I'd like to get some other folks interested in it.
