There are two clubs, but they are sort of connected. The boeing Model rocket club
launches in Kent on the second Saturday of the month at the Kent Boeing space center,
non-boeing people can be non-voting members, and there is no charge for launching.
They have been having build/fly sessions for a while where you progress through
more difficult kits.

Tripoli also has a section there, which is made up of partly boeing people, and mostly
non-boeing. It is really the same club as the model rocket club, as far as the newsletter
goes, but different people usually attend. They launch the first Sunday of the month in
Monroe on a site that is good for about 4000' max, although the waiver is 5000', and
for any motor size. Limitations are usually the wind(and rain). No charge for the launch,
and they have low power pads also, the more the merrier.

Contact Dave Davis the Tripoli prefect(and former Boeing club president) and he can
tell you more information.

I know the Boeing Co has a model rocket section they fly out of Monroe
fairground once a month or so but I'm not sure if they are afffiliated to
any local clubs, might be worht calling Boeing Sports and Social to get
the number of the person incharge; also find a copy of HPR mag I think a
Guy by the name of Dave Davis is the local HPR prefect coordinator and is
associated with Boeing he might be able to direct you.
