Hello all. Does anyone have a copy of Jim Barrowman's original pamphlet for
NASA? It was published by the Educational Services Office, and was in the
"Information For You" series. The title is "Calculating the Center of
Pressure of a Rocket". This was put out in the mid 60's.

That isn't the original report Jim did for NASA. It is the version he did
for Centuri that they published as a tech report. Jim's original was a
thesis he did while while at the Catholic University of America.

From the bibliography contained in VCP:
"The Practical Calculation of the Aerodynamic Characteristics of Slender
Finned Vehicles"
James Barrowman's original thesis. The text of some of the equations,
subscripts in particular, are very small and do not reproduce well. Most
everything else in clearly legible. Includes the article "An Improved
Theoretical Aerodynamic Derivatives Computer Program for Sounding Rockets."
104 pages, $12.00.

Please note that I do not intend to imply that I hold any sort of
copyright over Barrowmans material. I do have a copy of the thesis
and some other papers, which I will duplicate and mail at cost for
anyone interested.
