A change in employment status afforded me the time to take my young'ns down
to the Phoenix Science Museum and make a first hand gander at the Liberty
Bell 7. We experienced de-orbit to splash down in a trainer, scooped
capsules out of the water with a helicopter, hooked a cable to a capsule
with a deep sea rover, and spent some time in awe of the capsule engineering
and restoration. The exhibit will be in the valley until Sept 7. We parked
in the small garage just north of the museum and it was only a buck with
validation. If you're fairly up on the flight, the planetarium show can be
skipped (was free with membership).

bio on Gus. Somewhere included a tour calendar, though it appeared out of
date on one page, and completely wrong on another (not below)
