Wooden Boat Painting

Hi,
I am currently in the process of building the Dumas Chris Craft Utility wooden
boat. I need to ask a question about painting my boat. I am not sure when to
paint the bottom of the boat and the waterline. I am unsure whether I should
paint before I apply the polyester resin to fiberglass it or if painting it is
one of the last things I should do. I have looked all throughout my
instruction book and have not been able to find any information on when to
paint. I would appreciate it if you could e-mail me back with any information
