Folks-

I'll be incommunicado from the evening of 22Dec00 to 2Jan01. If you email me
or post to my attention during that time and are not able to reach me,
please don't think I'm ignoring you. I'll handle all matters that need my
attention upon my return. I'll be in Pompano Beach Florida during that time.
I'd like to be taking an RC with me, but that's not realistic given that
this is supposed to be one of those "family" outtings. Oh joy. ;)

Hey bro... have a Great Christmas... and may you wake up New Years day with
a pair of panties on your head, a funny taste in your mouth, .. and not have
the vaguest memory of what happened the night before!!!

Already had a great Christmas-- got an E-Maxx! I used the way you acquired
the Nitro RS4 as inspiration, and asked for gift certificates from the wife,
inlaws, and parents. .The thing RULES!

Regards the other bit of your post-- the wife's been taking care of that
lately as well <woohoo!>, and I'm sure with my nutty inlaws that are around
my age <wife's sisters and cousins> the booze will be present shortly.... ;)

Looking forwad to seeing you sign on AIM once in a while when I get back,
man <hint!>.

Why do you put your dates as if you are foreign? Americans put it
Month/Day/Year....I _think_ every other place in the world does it
Day/Month/Year. About the family outing, tell them you gotta go to the
bathroom or something and run off to your car and get your r/c outa the car,
play with it for a while and then go back and act as if you are relieved.

And that its not his cousin or grandma laying next to him (he said it was a
family outing, I assume he meant other mems of his family and not just his
imidiate family).

a Mech battalion. Stuff just kinda "sticks", yano?

Won't be driving to Florida- I'll be flying. I wonder what Delta will lose

Your gonna get a rent-a-car once you're there though right? Or are your
family members gonna drive you around?

Nope. We'll have one- count it- one- minivan. Oh joy.

Maybe we'll be close enough to a tattoo parlor that I can get some artwork
done that I've been thinking about for years now. I'll only be able to sit
by the pool so long before I go nuckin' futz!

Speaking of taking an RC with you, I had to perform maintenance (mainly running
Norton Utilities) on the file servers at work on Christmas Eve. I figured nobody
would be around, so I took an RS4 Rally with me. I'm glad I installed that
slipper clutch - I probably would have broken something what with all the
furniture and machinery I wedged that thing under at full speed. Dang 11-turn
motors. :) I hope you and everyone else had a Merry Christmas, and that Santa
was in a generous mood.
