I have seen several references from our UK colleages to Biological
washing powder for cleaning engine parts. Can someone who is bilingual
(UK English to American English) translate that for those of us in the
US that aren't familiar with it. It would be of greatest help if one
could mention a specific american brand name. I have seen descriptions
of this stuff in the past but was really never able to comprehend
exactly what it is.

That ECO friendly not biological.

Biological, AFAIK, means it works using enzymes to break down dirt and
grime. They usually only are used at temperatures under 40 degrees.
Anything over this kills the enzymes.

If you are too young to know why Biological washing powder was created
and sold I suggest you ask your mother.

A biological washing power contains enzymes- identical to the enzymes used
in the digestion process to break down food. In a similar way the enzymes
break down dirt and stains on clothes helping in the cleaning process.

Another technically correct but totally usless piece of information for you
all.

For fucks sake don't start a war just because H: If MPA posts something you
don't agree with, fine, but trolling, although very popular on most NG's,
isn't needed here.

Call me net-cop, call me twat-face, but don't call me at 4 in the morning,

Can't help yu with a brand name Ed, but a saunter down the washing powder
ailse in your local Wal-Mart should see you holding a packet. It ALWAYS says
"bio" on the package (according to Mrs Beav:-) and if you can't fnd one, I'm
sure one of the fem-fatale employees at Wal-Mart will show you where the
packs are:-)

Don't look in the dish washer section, it's the clothes washing section you
need.

My own view, same as snake oil.
Dolpins on washing powder sells to the ECO buyer.
Blue green algal blooms have nothing to do with clothes washing powder
and everything to do with phosphate and nutrient run off from
farming..
Anyway last I heard Dolpins where suffocating themselves in plastic
shopping bags so that solves that problem..

On the alergies, you can beat a front loading washer to solve that
problem if you dont have one already.

I mean detergent alergies in general.
(maybe why you have a front loader to begin with, common knowlegde
among wimin folk)
Stuff the ECO powder, like I say I dont see the point of it and beside
your front loader uses less water and detergent.

If you're going to cry to your mommy every time someone slags you off,
perhaps you ought to hang around with nursery kids rather than adults.

Youre a weirdo.

You are clueless
I fly a helicam and thats all I fly for from the begining..
You have no concept of precision flying, you cant fly helis, any stick
stirrer can fly 3D and your just a sim jockey...

I have video I posted here the first 2 weeks doing figure 8's, FF
circuits is the simplest and 3D flight comes close behind it.

eg
Give your heli full collective and get some air, shut your eyes and
stir both sticks and count to three, open eyes and look at heli and
recover it back to FF from wherever it may be.
Voila you just flew 3D !, almost as easy as crashing, if you didnt.

Then you can try some precision flying sucgh as the style scale fliers
adopt and you might be as good as me at it in about a year or so if
you ever catchup.

Why are your posts so boring and short. ?
Are you stuck on 2 finger typing perhaps and it just takes you too
long to write a few words or are you just brainless and illiterate
like you sound when you speak that throwback haggis gibberish..

Your insults like

>and you like roos bums

Did you think that up all at once or did you spend the whole day on it
?
You keep insisting I like roo arse, coming from a Haggis thats plain
hypocrtical, your notorious wildlife shaggers from way back, Im half
scottish so I know the dirt on you haggis and your disgusting habbits.

The only shagging of roos that goes on here in Aus is with a .22 rifle
and often.

Your a weirdo, your posts are so pointless, the insults utterly lame
and reptitive (do you just cut and paste them), they constitute abuse
of the group.
You wouldnt be missed in here if I managed to skid your access with
complaints.

Like hell you have stupid.

It was hovering around the beach for a good reason.
You where just looking at the wrong thing. it was a video not likely
to make it in RR unless it had some heli in it, and not a flying
display.
If it was I would have been flying the thing but it is clear to see it
is not in forward flight to any degree just hanging around the beach
in between the scenery.

I doubt the term "roo shagger" will get them on side.

Yes, just not in heli usenet or heli forums.
The diff is I dont pretend I am liked in here and dont have a
compulsion to suck up to others like you do.

People only have a dim view of me in heli forums.
In some other groups there are many I get along with very well and
have the respect of some for the help Ive provided over the years and
the fact I dont talk rubbish just to get everyone looking at me, like
you do, and I tell it like it is even if it isnt what everyone wants
to hear it is the plain facts.
rec.autos.tech for many years, wont find aynone who has a bad word to
say of me in there (if there is anyone still there from the old days.)
alt.sounds.mp3 same goes for the last 5 years.

The only people on or off the internet who think I am arrogant un
likeable and or a nasty person all own model helicopters.

I am not the only one who gets un provoked abuse here or RR, a few
seem to accept the crap thrown on them, the majority just go away and
never come back leaving the usual suspects day in and day out, I dont
see the point in that at all.
The likes of you is easily enough dealth with, although I can see why
most dont bother sticking around for it.

It was clear to me some time ago that I dont have any issues I need to
deal with as some have blurted out but you and a few others here and
on RR certainly do, you included although I think youve got a fair
portion of common stupidity to deal with first I dont think youll ever

What are you trying to say? All heli flyers by some freak of nature/ fate
find your personality arrogant? Or do you perhaps think that everyone who
flys a model helicopter is arrogant? I know (and this may sound infeasable
to you) maybe YOU ARE arrogant. I am arrogant too. I learned this many
many years ago and I'm happy with who I am. You have to grow mentally -
look at youself from a third person perspective and perhaps you'll see
someone you don't like much. My theory (and it is only a theory before you
start crying again), is that the only reason you have a problem with this NG
and RR is that they are not connected with your livelihood. You daren't
show your true colours on these groups for fear of losing any remaining
shard of proffesional credability. Since this is not an issue with model
helis, your subconcious allows your "true self" to surface.

Yes I am arrogant like most other in here, but only un likeable to rc
heli owners.
Ive speculated a number of reasons for it.

No, You_are concerned what others think about you on the net.
I am not and have said it more than once blind fool.

I show vids, pics and throw opinions regardless of what others think
of them.
You wouldnt have the guts to because your afraid of what others might
think of you.
Do you worry people may discover your a worthless wretch ?
I dont have such fears because I know I am not a worthless wretch like
you.
If you didnt beleive it you would not hide your failings like you do.
If you didnt beleive it you would not have any need to try and show
weaknesses in others in a in vain to make yourself look better as you
do.
Your a worhtless wretch, face it, dont hide it.

What you wrote above is simply a load of utter crap you could never
substantiate because it is based on more half arsed assumption, you
seem to do a lot of that.

I just dont have the trouble with people like I do with heli fliers.
The issue to me is clealry that I unlike so many others I do not
accept what the likes of you dish out and give you some of your own
and back, seems to upset dweebs like you who forget you started the
crap not me.

I have never dropped in here and insulted anyone in anyway without
being provoked like you have done, you do it because your a nasty
peice of work, basically no other explantion for it.
Pity there is an excess of your kind around heli forums you really
bring the place down to a lowest common denominator, the usual
suspects who ignore it and trolls like you, anyone who isnt inclined
to give you your own back just doesnt bother posting again.

There are some here who I have never had a hard word to and that
simply because they dont sling arrows at me and dont get any back.

Quite the reverse, it is the home truth
People stay away from these groups in droves because of your kind we
have too much of.
When I came in here to begin with Tim said "He will never last and
will be gone soon" I think at the time I took that the wrong way and
in fact didnt see the real meaning of what he meant.
What he meant was if I didnt kiss some arse and agree with everyone
and jockey for my place in the pecking order I wouldnt be popular in
here and would piss off, the mistake he made is I dont enter
popularity contests.

I am here for perfunctory reasons, you are here to try to bignote
yourself at the expense of others hoping some here will think
something off you, it is likely because everyone else you know in real
life likely think the worst of you so this is your next hope to make
some new friends who dont know the real you.
I have real mates I didnt get in the internet.

Only according to some rc heli fliers it seems so it realy isnt my
problem or issue.
Your issue that needs some pshyc attention is you read the word Toy
helicopter on the box and thought it meant you had to act like a child
as you do in here and RR.

Faking my tag and then posting retarded replies to yourself says it
all, your child like retarded nonsense thread from some weeks back
leaves no doubt your just an infatile peurile wanker.

And it started off so informatively too. Lots of guys wonder how to remove
all the black shite off engines/silencers as the question crops up quite
often. At least SOMEONE got some benefit from it, but you're right, it's
gone off the rails somewhat :-)

Hi,
I came across this thread and thought this might be of help:
http://www.laundromatfinder.com/detergent-brands.shtml

I usually use Surf as it's cheap but works well and has low suds.
I don't use it for laundry though... I use it for other cleaning.
Also, the enzyme powders aren't for use at like 40 degrees as stated by
someone here... that wouldn't activate the enzymes at all... too cold.
These work best in hot water... often I've seen them used in a paste on
say, a caked stovetop then heated well with a hairdryer.
I must say... it works amazingly!

Good Luck!

If you want to remove carbon and burnt on oil from exhaust systems and
engines, drop them in a pan of boiling water and keep on lobbing biological
washing powder into the pan.

With some engines (the cheaper Chinese ones in particular) the appearance
can be altered to resemble lead, but the higher quality Jap engines come out
of the mix like brand new and totally clear of any crap at all.

It needs VERY hot water though so keep the pan boiling and keep adding the
bio.

This even works to clean out the insides of tuned pipes and exhausts too.
