I have a complete Dave Platt Spitfire kit for sale. About the size you are
looking for.

you can get a 1/5 scale spit plans from pica at www.picaweb.com. These are
prob the same plans or very similar as the platt. The plans for my 1/6
platt FW190D-9 are the same as the pica D-9

The Dave Platt 1/5 Spit and the Pica 1/5 Spit are entirely different
birds. Platt may have designed Pica's smaller Spit but the big one is
all Pica. Platt's 1/5 scale (88 inches) represents the limited
production MkXII and is very accurate in outline. It is also a very
nice flyer as are most big Spits. Not for the beginning builder,
however. The Pica 1/5 scale is SUPPOSED to represent a MkIX but is
really very innacurate. It is a very good flyer though, and a much
easier build than the Platt. The best plans available for the Spit
are by Brian Taylor and are available from Bob Holman in California.
Taylor's airplane is a MkVIII/IX, 83 inches in span, and is very
accurate. Again, not for the beginner, but the best scale plans
available and much better than Platt's plans, IMHO. Holman can be
reached at bhp...@aol.com or 909-885-3959. I have owned and/or built
the Platt, Pica, Yellow, and Century Jet 1/5 scale Spitfires and have
two of the Brian Taylor Spits on the board. Best of luck, Chad Veich.

PS-If you are interested in a glass fuse and other accessories for the
Brian Taylor design drop by Vic Catalasan's web site and look at what
he offers. I have these accessories and am quiet pleased with them.

I have very detailed drawings (DWG) on my web page. Scale it to any size you
like. The current scale is about 1/5.5
