A beautiful airplane! Having owned and flown a full size one on floats
for many yrs I am very interested in this plane. I was fortunate to
pick up a great kit a few yrs ago. It came from a company called
Champion Model Aeroplane co., Box 91, Woodbridge, NJ. Don't know if
they are still around or not. It's 1/5 scale with a span of 85".
Havn't built it yet but it's getting close to the top of the pile!

I'm also sure that I saw an ad for a PA12 kit in one of the mags in the
last month or so.

I have had great success over the years writing to A/C companies and
requesting scale 3-views. You might try dropping a note to the New
Piper Aircraft Co. and seeing if they can send you something that you
can expand. They are on the web at http://www.newpiper.com/index.html

There is a gorgeous pic of one at

paint does not look quite the correct colour.

Also check this URL:http://imt.net/~ims/scale.html They have the PA12
listed in the plans catalogue and they probably have a phot pack as
well.
