I wanted to try something different and I bought this F20 EDF ARF.
http://www.nitroplanes.com/f20tigershark.html
It came with a single sheet of instructions which is a copy of a copy
of a copy -- so the instructions are pretty much worthless as there is
no English text and the pictures are junk.
When I try to email nitroplanes they REFUSE to provide instructions or
help (they provide a 626 area code telephone number which is busy
24/7). Their last e-mail was a single line which read like this
"please try
rcuniverse.com for help on installations"
Nice customer support eh?
If anyone has any familiarity with this model, what engine size should
I use? I'm new to electric but I'm also guessing I need to add a
controller and battery pack. What size pack and controller should I
use?
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Adam,
Assuming that this is an FRP plane instead of foam then I have the same
kit. The instructions aren't good. But it's a pretty basic plane really
so if you have some experience it should not present a lot of troublle.

I would use the biggest ducted fan unit that will fit into the fuselage.
Then select the motor and ESC based upon the fan requirements.

FWIW my Instructions are printed in English IIRC and it doesn't really
help <g> I did toss the cheesy stickers and get some decals made for it.
Big improvement.

Bill
The instructions are atrocious. This airplane is a B-I-T-C-H to
build...trying to get the servo leads, power leads, etc. from the back to
the front of the fuselage.
I have built one but have yet to fly it.

There's a great build and fly link there. Complete description of what fan
and motor was used and I'm sure you can buy it from Electric Jet Factory.
Good Luck! Let us know how she flies! I haven't flown mine yet because we
have a grass field and I don't want to mess with a bungee launcher!

Jim, how come you and I aren't out in the yard cooking red meat and
celebating?
:)
