You must have better luck than I do, I used that product on my Goldberg
Chipmunk (RIP) and it looked good until the first day I took it out. When I
brought it home I thought it didn't look right. The top turned
yellow/orange/green and the bottom was still red white & blue. I used a
couple of very thin coats and it was not very good IMHO. I can send you
pieces of the covering for a sample! The best way to describe it is it
looked like the dogs had a leak on after it was out in the sun.

Been there, done that.
I've found that an automotive clearcote (such as the PPG paints - I think it's
called DAU82) is far superior to any of the model paint. It also dries much
faster (so less wories about things landing on the paint while it's still wet)
and is impervious to both glo-fuel and gas.
You should, of course, do a test first to ensure paint compatability before
spraying the clear over your lovely new paint job. If you don't want to shell
out the money for the paint first (it aint cheap), take a test-piece to your
local auto-body repair shop and ask them to shoot some clear on it the next
time they mix some.
