Can someone help me find an article in Model Railroader? I know that they
published drawings of a narrow-gauge K-27 locomotive either in November 1972
or November 1973 (I have citations with both dates).

Can anyone provide me with something I can ask the library for (i.e. the
correct date and title of the article)?

Thanks
Vance

This is index-on-a-disk's entire listing on D&RG or D&RGW 2-8-2 scale
drawings. You'll note that the issues you listed are not among those
below, although there are a couple of K27 references nearby. There is a
D&RGW stock car plan in nov 72, though. IaoD does not give titles,
sorry.

Vance:

The K-27 drawings were published in a 2 article series in Model
Railroader in the March and June 1973 Model Railroader.

The articles were by Allen Brewster and include many photographs.
MR was all b&w in those days.

There are some pictures of the underside of #463 that Allen calls
"once-in-a-lifetime". They were taken while #463 was being loaded on
a flatbed truck to be returned to Antonito from California, where it
had been owned by Gene Autry.
