Hello,

I'm having problems synchronizing my old 64-bit W10 Pro PC's MP3s to my
USB connected iPod nano 6G (8 GB). iTunes said saying "Some of the items
in the iTunes library, including '...', were not copied to the iPod '...''
because they cannot be played on this iPod." There were 100 (probably
more) since I have a huge collection. How do I fix this? Is it possible to
tell iTunes to skip these problematic songs? All softwares are updated.

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

Yesterday's mawny outing was crazy this mawny. Another reason to avoid the crowds. Finally updated to iOS v16(.1.1), but passed out during it after 10 PM. :(

transcode them to mp3/aac, uncheck any songs you don't want to sync.

They're all MP3s like I said earlier. There are too many (almost 2K) to
uncheck. For now, I just want iTunes not to sync those problematic MP3s
and just the ones iPod nano 6G can play. I'll let iPhones handle the rest
since it had no problems.

they could be an incompatible variant of mp3 that's not fully compliant.

make a playlist, which should minimize the hassle.

you can also ignore the error. since they're unplayable, they won't be
synced.

Do you happen to know what compatible specifications the old iPod nano
6G supports? I do have various types. VBR, CBR, 112kbs, 128kbs, 160kbs,
etc.

I did ignore, but iTunes didn't sync anything. :(

not offhand. where did you get the mp3s? is there a common source?

it should sync everything but what's listed in the error alert.

Random places like Internet, my own rips in both Windows and Linux, etc.

Weird. It now works after I disabled and re-enabled disk usage, exited
iTunes, physically disconnected and reconnected iPod nano 6G's wide
connector, and relaunched iTunes. I'm now syncing! :O
