This is a FANTASTIC decision.

The financial lobby hates it. That means it's probably beneficial.
Now, I know that the libtards on this forum will be cheering, but this
type of regulatory framework is the ANTITHESIS of what they and their
statist comrades represent!

It would be NICE if there could be ONE unified body of rules covering
financial firms. For the past 20 years, there have been - NONE. It's
been a free-for-all where they put their guy in Treasury and loot the
American Nation. So, the alternative, the necessary alternative, is
to send power BACK to the States. This WILL hamstring the financial
services sector, but this is a GOOD thing because they have nearly
singlehandedly destroyed our nation.

We CANNOT be a hedge fund nation and expect to have real prosperity,
cap and trade to FORCE decreases in emissions...we'll end up
outsourcing ANYTHING that produces CO2. Nimbys and their ilk are
going to have to get used to some PRODUCTION here. My very own HOA is
trying to get rid of a local paving plant that was HERE FIRST, for 20
years before the richies built a little idyllic neighborhood right
fucking next to it, a rail yard, and an incinerator. Now, they are
trying to shut down ANY industrial production, so that people can
"recreate, eat, and shop" in this area!!?!? This is PRECISELY what
happens when you have a bubble economy built on financial services and
ponzis; you end up with delusions about what is WORTH doing and what
is productive. For 30 years, pushing paper has been the thing to do;
that must end.

So if this cripples our financial sector, SO BE IT. It's a necessary
loss. Let them move to Iceland or another nation to collapse with
FIRE hedgefund economic policy.

We have to get the money and power OUT of Washington before they

If Scalia is a conservative and this returns power to the states, doesnt
that fit his philosphy - states rights and a smaller less powerful central
govt? It is much easier to control predatory lending locally than
nationally. State legislatures tend to listen to their constituents a lot
more than national ones.
