I'm looking for a good dojo in the South Florida area, hopefully one
which has a strong kung fu/wu shu teacher, optimally someone teaching
choy lay fut. I'm willing to travel as far north as west palm beach if
the class is what I'm looking for, but I live in Miami.
I would like to train in an aggressive, less linear fighting form
(which is why I like choy lay fut). While I'd prefer to study kung fu, I
am open to other suggestions on forms I don't know about. I have gone
the judo/tae kwon do/shotokan route and don't want to do that again
though.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks...

Try Ker-Jen Wu in South Miami near the Bakery Centre.
Should be in the phone book.

The Paradise brothers used to teach in Miami. There is a Choy la Fut school in
Ft. Lauderdale. Master Lee Kwoon Hung's. He passed away last year, but the
school is still going strong. In Boca, Quan Chun with Sifu Dale McNaughton is
very good. No. Shaolin.
Good luck.
