You mean like you blame the Republicans for everything. Such projection.

Ok then you will be pillaged and raped.

Dont need to. My wife bought a ton a rice to feed a bunch of shooters with a
gumbo. We still have a ton left over. Would you like some?
You just claimed there is no shortage, yet I refuted it.
Now you tell me you have plenty. Whatever, maggot. You don't want to

Costco, and Sam's Club, are limiting BULK purchases of some types of
imported rice. And Costco is apparently only doing this at "some" stores.
2 warehouse stores, limiting how many 20 pound bags of imported rice a
person can purchase at one time, that is a long way off from a crisis.
Try Your local Asian grocery. You will probably be able to get a 40 pound
bag for about the same price.
Huh?
I am not saying there is a rice shortage HERE.
But, there IS food rationing, albeit of a virtually trivial scale NOW.
Those who DENY that there is any problem at all, whilst people
actually die in riots over freaking FOOD, are the ones you need to
focus your attention on. A ration at Costco over rice is
unprecedented yet you write it off. No big deal, huh?
WTH is the matter with you people...it's like the crisis has to be on
YOUR DOORSTEP for there to be a crisis at all. Do some research on
inflation and food prices and the wide range of localities in which
there have been price riots. They've even occurred in G7 countries
for fuck's sake!
All while you guys deny, deny, deny that there's any problem at all.
Is it so apocryphal to you people to even ADMIT the possibility that
there could be a problem, a SYSTEMIC problem with the world economy,
with inflation, with oil production, with ANYthing? Is it really so
frightening that you would rather persist in denial of it?
Those who are in the deepest denial are the ones who can understand
the consequences should what they wish to be untrue actually be true.
Herbort won't see any problem until HE personally is starving.
Trav
Ok brain boy. So what is your plan. Aramageddon or temporary crisis? How do
you plan to survive it? You have bellyached enough. Now tell us what a
genius does. Cause I am pretty well prepared for a temporary crisis, brain
boy. How about you? Got guns? Got ammo? Got water storage when the city
pumps go out? Got MREs on hand? Got farming tools? Got seeds? Got a place to
go? Got anything other than your panic?
I bet you dont.

i don't deny that there is a serious problem with inflation of staple food
prices, and the availability of rice in particular, but to call what is
going on int the U.S. "rationing" is absurd and simply untrue.
Have You ever had to deal with rationing? Real rationing? i have.
Costco and Sam's Club putting a limit on the number of 20 pound bags of
imported rice a person can buy on a single trip through store is a far cry
from rationing. As long as You have money and are willing to make
multiple trips between the store and Your vehicle, and/or come back the
next day to repeat that process, You can still buy as much rice as Your
want. If You go to a different store, like Your local Asian grocery, You
will be able to walk out with carts filled with 40 pound bags of rice.
And there is no restriction of any kind on domestic rice. You can buy as
much Minute Rice on a single trip as You please. That is not rationing.
When the government imposes measures to limit the total number of bags of
rice (imported or not) that a person can purchase during a week or month,
and takes measures to enforce that restriction, That is rationing.
Grocery stores routinely limit the number of packages of soda-pop a person
can buy in a single trip when they are on sale. Are You going to claim
that flavored sugar water is being rationed?
No, it is NOT, merely because it is not the most SEVERE form of
rationing that could be contemplated! Rationing is not a BINARY term.

really, it's not? WOW...I never would have guessed that there was no
rationing on minute rice seeing as I had never suggested that there

That is for a completely different reason and you know it. Anti-
cherrypicking caps are not the same as this. Stop making stupid
comparisons.

Note that in Pakistan "the police have stepped in to prevent

Face it, the rules will get changed. This is a euphemism for "those in

everyone else to suffer together equally and kill those that exploit them".

BOFH excuse #388:
Bad user karma.
You are the one make stupid, idiotic, and absolutely ridiculous
comparisons. Rationing may not be a 'binary' term, but that does not mean
You get to apply any definition You wish to it. There are absolutely no
restriction on the total amount of rice a person in the U.S. can purchase.
Two, and ONLY two chain store have put a minor restriction on how many
bulk bags of imported rice a person may purchase on a single trip through
the check-out (and done so for the same reason they restrict the number
of sale items a person can purchase at a single time). The person can
still purchase all the rice they want, they just have to put forth a
little more effort, or go to a different store. That in no way meets any
definition of the term 'rationing'.
That canary You mentioned may certainly be ill, But You are trying to
claim that tunnel is already collapsing.
If You actually want anyone to take You seriously in any way, stop
screaming the the sky is falling when it clearly is not.
I haven't made ANY comparisons, idiot! Not a single ONE.

Sure it does. Look the fucking thing UP if you do not believe me.

I have made NO SUCH CLAIMS. I defy you to point to where I did!
I have said ONLY that there is a problem, one which you seem unwilling
to admit!

That statement of yours carries explicit comparison within it. Without
comparison, "there IS food rationing" cannot be measured against "virtually
trivial scale".

WOW..are you SERIOUS?
I had NO CLUE that it carried explicit comparison within it, you know,

My statement stands as a refutation to the assertion that there is

If it was so obvious that "it carried explicit comparison", why did you
claim that you "haven't made ANY comparisons, idiot! Not a single ONE"?
Hmmm?
Are you a liar or just stupid? Or both?

"a refutation to the assertion that there is 'no' rationing" is not being
discussed here. Your assertion that you "haven't made ANY comparisons,
idiot! Not a single ONE" is.
Please stay focussed, and do try not to snip the arguments you want to avoid
because I'll just put them back.

Monkey see, monkey do.
Is this how you do your trolling? You pull pieces of sentences and
attempt to reassemble them to make that into an argument?
I made no comparisons between rationing now and the rationing
discussed by the other author.
But, troll on for another bitchslap.

Moi?

You will note that you have specified "rationing now" and "rationing
discussed by the other author".
Where, in your original statement, "I haven't made ANY comparisons, idiot!
Not a single ONE" are the specifics? "Not a single ONE" is all exclusive,
whereas the difference between "rationing now" and "rationing discussed by
the other author" is not.
Please explain why you feel you should be allowed to move the goalposts.
