Translation of martial arts honorifics

So, if someone is a Sa Bom Nim, but some of his students have gone and
start up their own schools, and he has trained under a Noh Sa Nim, could
you then call him Gho Sa Nim?

Could Kyo Sa Nim be someone with a gup rank, or do they have to be of
dan rank? Since we are a new school and very small, we only have 2
people of e dan rank, although we have a 3rd gup who assists in
instructing and demonstrating techniques a lot. We're trying to figure
out what to call people of gup ranks who assist in instructing.

So would this be a better term for a person with a gup rank who assists
in instruction? Is sa bu nim the same as sa bom nim, or are they
different? And is sa bum nim also different, or is it just a poor
transliteration of sa bom nim?

Usually the martial art clubs of Korean origin has the names ending with
kwan(meaning that house) so the club members are called kwanwon(litterally
club or house members). The member call each other Sunbae or Hoobaw
according to their seniority in age not in rank. Those who are senior in age
but lesser in rank are also usually called Sunbae but sunbae also show their
respect those who are junior in age but senior in rank.
Most martial art clubs are organized in similar way regardless of martial
art types but sometimes the way some ranks are called vary according to the
origin of the martial arts. When a new martial art club is organized, the
club usually starts with Kwanjang and Sabum(nim is a title to be put to a
job as a way to respect). You can name a few Kyosa and jokyo from your own
club or recruit them from local community on a part time basis.
The most impportant thing is Kwanhoon(a sort of spiritual slogan your
martial art aim at). After al the essence of the martial art is not just
learning the technique. You must have your own Sabu Nim then you'd better
seek some advice from him for that. Or alternatively if you learned Dangsu
Do from Choi Baedal branch then their are some books published in Korea and
you may ask Korean to translate for you.
