Kite shops in Washington DC ?

My wife goes to Washington DC in a few days. Does anyone know of a good
kite shop , preferably with a website and e-mail so I can ask them about
stock and prices?

Hanan,

The only kite shop in DC is at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Mostly
carry Premier and Go Fly a Kite brands.

The nearest "real" kite shop is in Annapolis, MD (Kites Up and Away). They are
open Wed through Sun, 10am till 5pm. They carry a pretty nice assortment of
Prism, Premier, and other kites (some Cobra, Eolo First Step, Voodoo... etc.).
No web site though.

The next nearest is The Kite Loft in Ocean City, MD. Web site is
www.kiteloft.com.

That's about it, unfortunately! Maybe if I win the lottery, I'll think about
spending it all on a kite store so I can get to fly all the kites I'm always
hearing about!
