I like golf ball stacking, but don't care too much for numbers,
especially with the golf cubes the instant stackers use today. I once
say Jay Gilligan do a stack except he didn't even stack them at all, I
never would have thought of that. I've also seen some pretty creative
stacks using just one golf ball.

I hate to ask but what is golf ball stacking? I saw Daniel Holzman
jugging two golf balls on a golf club in a video once.
The name reminds me of the game "chubby bunnies" with marshmellows, but i
can't think that that game has anything to do with it.

Joe Malay who is a good friend and an awesome golfer, could easily stack
three on a tee without even pausing. It would take him as much time to put
one on the other as anyone would put just one on a tee. I saw him do 5 in
the clubhouse on a bet, he had no problem. I do not know how many he can
actually do.

Does anybody find it strange that the bowling ball record is higher (10).
Golf balls are small, and have small holes, while bowling balls are bigger
heavier, and more spherical, except at the grip holes.
I wonder how many Burrage Bags is stackable...
I don't think it's strange at all. The fact that they're heavier means you
don't need to be anywhere near as delicate as you're placing them. It
doesn't really matter that they have less holes - in fact I think it helps
because you can position the hole on a curved surface which enables you to
get it perfectly straight. I think with golf balls the holes aren't at
exactly oposite sides of the ball which means each one is stacked at a
slight angle.
* True, but the friction between the golf balls is considerably higher, so
more error is allowed.
* If the grip holes aren't drilled excactly to the center, bowling balls
won't stand straight either.
* Golf balls are also loads cheaper which makes golf ball stacking more
likely for people to pick up ("9 golf balls? Interesting. I'll go out and
buy some and try...").
* Also, take to the account that most golfers have bunch of balls, while
most bowler just have one ball (maybe because it isn't all that probable
to lose a ball in a bowling alley...).
* Golf ball stacking can be practiced quitetly att home without the fear
of breaking the furniture.
* I don't like the idea of being attacked by 10 bowling balls. A bunch of
golf balls falling down into in my lap seems much less painfull, maybe
I've just juggled rings to much...

I gonna go stack my 10 golf balls.
