New to this site so hey everyone :)

Just need advice on new clubs - old ones are one piece hollow plastic and
my hands needs surgery after 10 minutes practice!

I've narrowed it down to a choice of two after a couple of conversations
with jugglers - Henry's Piroutte or Henry's Delphin? (taking into account
price and durability)

Grateful for any experience or advice you care to share :)

Delphins are cheaper, their weight might differ per piece (in a range of 5
grams max) Their knops are different from the pirouettes, and they look
more like toys.

Although it has a classic long body it feels more like a pirouette, Handle
is of course most different, the sound is diffent, I can not remember how
it felt when you squeezed.

I go for the Pirouettes for the look of the handles, and buying what I am
used to, but Delphins are probably just as good for most jugglers and a
bit cheaper :).

LOADS of jugglers have all white pirouettes. This can be a good thing, it
can also be a bad thing...

I like to have dark tops, knops and tape in the middle so I can see where
my clubs are in their spin. And then some light colored body/handle. Light
green, yellow, orange, white. And if you attend to a festival decorate
them yourself. Some tape you did yourself or something like that.

I just bought 8 pirouettes at the last IJA and I can honestly say they're
the best juggling-related purchase I've ever made. That's a personal
opinion of course, but I would definitely recommend them.

If you are going to use them loads don't get taped clubs, especially the
glitter tape it breaks really easily. (or do what I do, which is to have a
set of pirouettes for practice and a glitter set for shows).

As for colours, where are you practicing? Do you need a light coloured
club because the lighting is poor or the ceiling is dark? Or do you need a
dark club because the ceiling is very light and you can't see the white
clubs?

I would say to make your clubs unique in some way. I just put HIM written
on the end of the clubs so I won't lose them at conventions.
