Hi all,

I was watching the Simpsons yesterday and the episode was "King-Size
Homer" (when Homer puts on 61 pounds in order to qualified as
"disabled" and work from home). I must have seen this episode a dozen
times, but I hadn't noticed the following quote before...

(Homer is reading through a book called "Am I Disabled?")

Homer: "Carpal tunnel syndrome"...no.
"Lumber lung"...no.
"Juggler's despair"...no.
"Achy breaky pelvis"...no. Oh, I'm never going to be disabled!
I'm sick of being so healthy.
Hey, wait...hyper-obesity! "If you weigh more than 300 pounds,
you qualify as disabled."

Since I'm now trying to learn the 5-ball cascade, do you think I can
qualify as suffering from "Juggler's despair"? ;-)

When I did a search on Yahoo! for the exact quote, I stumbled upon an
article from the "Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law", with
the title: "Achy Breaky Pelvis, Lumber Lung and Juggler's Despair: The
Portrayal of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Television and
Radio" by Cary LaCheen.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Juggle on! :-)

P.S.: Anybody out there living in Corning, NY and looking for a
juggling buddy?

If you can juggle 5 you are an "elite" juggler and henceforth cannot
possibly suffer from "juggler's despair"..I think "Juggler's Despair" is not
being about to juggle 5 . In other words..HOMER SIMPSON can JUGGLE 5 or
