I've got 3/4 kickups (total) doing this. I'm sure it's possible in
columns, just very hard! I challenged a very good football freestyler to
do this (who makes about 1000 kick ups first go with one ball), but he
said it was ridiculously hard after trying for a bit and not getting very
far.

Nah, Pete doesn't use soccer balls.

There's a guy from New York named Benny Kellman who does this. Saw him do
it in
a street show once and it looked pretty solid. It was a column pattern
using
both feet (balls never switched sides) and he stalled each briefly instead
of
kicking it. Kicking would surely be impossible to control.

Hey, i hav been asking myself this questions for quite some time. i dont
understand why this hasn't been done.
i sure someone must be able to do it.
i did go through a stage of kicking a ball up higher than head height and
trying to keep it in a straight line and then kicking it up again in a
straight line.

and it went pretty good.

i think its possible.
but who is going to spend the time to learn it? thats the question!!!

Thanks for the links.

These attempts use lower kicks than I imagined.
I thought it would be more like Lewis said, high straight columns.

I definitely think that if that main guy from the vids committed to this
as his main trick he could get it close to solid.
