A friend brought me this nice Japanese semi-auto 12 ga with a missing forend.

Info on the gun:
KAWAGUCHIYA MODEL 250, 12 ga, 2 3/4 " , (Importer??) la paloma mktg, Tucson, AZ 85712 (or 65712?)
stock is plastic, wood-grained, forend is missing.
gas operated
SN: RF 107xxx
OAL 45 1/4 ", bbl length 25 1/4 ", incl.external choke, marked HC
He'd like to find a forend and other choke tubes. Could a stockmaker make a forend??

Don't have a clue as to where you could get only the forearm but you can
get a complete matching gun in what appears decent condition on
gunbroker.com for $219.99 including shipping.

Replacing the entire gun is one option I guess <grin>.

What about taking it to a couple of gunsmiths in the area. Even if they do not make that kind of part they should know of someone who does. Or, the gunsmith might know of someone or a small business that has forearms and other similar parts available.

Then, there is Shotgun News. May be someone listed in there who has the part.

Thanks.

Forepieces seem to cost north of $150.

If he bought from Gunbroker, then he'd have to choose which to trash. (:>)
