I'm fairly new at duck hunting here in the northwest. I have tried a
couple of different duck calls and ended up with one that is made near
Portland. It's called the "KUM-DUCK". I would have mentioned it in reply
to the other duck call question but this one is not pretty or made of
wood. It just works good. It costs between 7 and 15 bucks depending on
where you get it. It's green and looks like a simple plastic tube. One
fully adjustable reed that rarely if ever sticks (unless you blow part of
your candy bar into it). It is used extensively around here in the NW by
professional callers and guides. I hunted with one such caller that works
on Sauvie Island that uses a Kum-Duck with a Duck-Comander reed... He
called it his Kum-Commander :-) I can look up the manufacturers address
