Didn't Chuck Adams's "super slam" include 23 North American big game animals?

I took a look around on the net and eventually ended up at
www.boone-crockett.org
In their worlds records section they list 35 animals that can be entered.
The list includes typical/non-typical which adds a few for the same
species of course. Its actually a nice site, I liked it.

Wild Turkey, White-tail deer, Mule deer, Black-tail Deer, Elk, Moose,
Pronghorn, Carabou, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Mountain Lion (or cougar or
puma or whatever), Wolf, Black Bear, Grizzley Bear, Polar Bear, Musk Ox, Bison
(Buffalo). I think that about covers Native species. I included Wild turkey,
because some states consider it a big game animal. For that matter, some
states or porvinces may consider coyote, bobcat, or lynx to be big game animal.
This list isn't exactly a complete list because many of these species have
various sub species. For instance, there are 4 varieties of turkey, 2
subspecies of white-tail deer, 2 varieties of black-tail deer, 4 types of
bighorn sheep, and sometimes i see the grizzly bears divided into 2 groups.
