Our established, SW GA hunting club (The Muckalee Sportsmans Association,
inc) has openings for a couple of members this year. The membership runs
from June 1st to May 31st and is STRICTLY LIMITED to 30 members. Guests are
allowed, but not encouraged. A daily Guest fee is charged, as well a a
seperate fee for game taken.
We have deer, turkeys (NO hogs on the property) varmints (Coyotes, bobcats
crows) Small game, ducks and some natural quail . . . There could be dove
fields, but no one chose to plant one this year. . .We lease about 3400 ac
mostly in planted pines, with a good mix of hard wood bottoms, swamps and
some smaller farmed parcels. About 2000 ac are in a contigious block. The
remainder are in areas immediately adjacent to the main lease
Several of the members own tractors and harrows & bush hogs, and can assist
in putting in food plots in a "private area" that each member has exclusive
access to during deer season.

We own our camp ground, and we have "city" water and power. Campers can be
left all year. Some choose to build porches and decks onto their camp site.
Club members have access to the camp ground & leased property on a year
round basis.

We are a STRICT Quality Deer Management (QDM) club located in Marion County,
Georgia, just south of the town of Buena Vista.

Take a look at the web site that is hosted by one of our members at:
http://huntingmuckalee.com

or you can contact me, Doug Bernhard, at tarpon...@hotmail.com or on my
cell phone at 678-773-4158

Membership is a flat $1,000.00 per member, which includes the campground.
Dues must be paid in full prior to hunting or placing a camper. We have a
couple of members that live in the area around the club, and can show you
the place given some advance warning . . .

We will be advertising the openings in the Georgia Outdoor News (GON) July
land edition, as well at the Buck-O-Rama in Atlanta, so the openings will
not last long . . .
