I read on another newsgroup that "Magnum", the moderator of rec.guns may be
personally known to some of you. Rec.guns hasn't been updated for a few
days, and I thought I would ask here if anyone knows anything about what is
happening over there.
Jim ("Magnum") had some health issues last year, and the fear is that he may
be experiencing them again.
If anyone does know him personally, it may be worthwhile giving him a call
to see if he is ok.
Cheers,
Brenton

My local newsserver had 270+ new (& current) messages in
rec.guns earlier this morning; looks like everything is flowing
normally on this end.

It appears that things are returning to normal. For 3 days I could not get any
new msgs for that newsgroup. Then, the 270 new ones and now it seems that there
are about 150 new every 12 hours or so.

Everything seems to be working again - thanks for the replies, folks.
