Each year my gun club, Fairfax Rod & Gun Club, offers an annual
sighting-in-days event to assist hunters in properly sighting in their
hunting weapons. We assist hunters with rifles, hand guns, black powder
guns, shotgunners, slug hunters, buckshot hunters and bird hunters. Each
hunter is assisted by a shooting coach who generally are expert
competitive rifle, handgun or shotgun shooters. There is a $5 per gun
charge for assisting the hunter.

We have available metallic silhouettes, running deer targets (paper
targets), skeet, trap, and sporting clays. Each shooter will be required
to where ear and eye protection (we will provide if the shooter does not
possess these items). No fully automatic weapons or weapons capable of
fully automatic fire will be permitted. Register at the clubhouse at the
entrance before going to ranges.

This is an excellent event for all hunters experienced or novice to
participate. Expert hunters and shooters are available to discuss your
shooting and hunting needs. NRA staff members are also on hand.

We are in close proximity to the Manassas Battle Fields and less than 20
miles from the NRA National Headquarters in Fairfax, VA. Even if you
visit our club from as far away as Pennsylvania, New Jersey or North
Carolina it would be worth a weekend getaway.

The event will be held Oct. 28-29 and Nov. 4-5. Registration is 8:30a.m.
to 3:30p.m. Shooting is from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. All shooting points
are covered - come rain or shine.

See you there! Oh by the way -- all you hot shot 7mm Mag shooters ask for
me -- I d like to see how well you shoot. I can always use a good
chuckle.

Fairfax Rod & Gun Club is located at 7039 Signal Hill Road in Manassas,
Virginia 22111. We are in the white pages of the phone book.
