Does anyone have any experience w/ High Ridge Hunting Preserve? A
couple of us from southwest PA are thinking about going boar hunting
there. I just wanted to know if this was a good place and what do
expect... Any other places in PA (or OH or WV) that would be good for
boar hunting?
I've heard mixed opinions on Tioga Hunting Preserve.
Is now (May/June) a good time to go???

if you like perserved hunts it ok i have not hunted there but when i went to sc
perserved hunt i thought it was like hunting deer in the woods but it was all
fence in and the animals is running around though the woods and when the
feeders goes off and dawn they come running. it was ok and got a nice boar from
there but i felt like shooting pig at the farm. i will never do it again but
if i had a kid new at hunting i will take him so he can see alot deffert
animals and you know he will get one that is not dalt. if you never went befor
i say go and see how it is you may like it. and you will see sheep that you
will never see any where else because they are from over seas and it is neat.
so i tell you if you want to go go and enjoy your self but dont drive no father
then you have to it only few states has perseved hunting and i herd that one is
just as good as the next. good luck and have fun and take it from me dont tell
other hunter that you went they ride me for mouths for going and i did not know
where we was going it was frend of mine who talk me into going i thought we was
hunting wild boar until the we got there but i had a good time anyway and
proble will do it again some day
