When you see her, you'll know why I posted it here:

That bear looks (and moves) better than some of the Jersey strippers I have
had the (dis)pleasure of seeing perform in the past. ;-)

And no, I was just using the pay phone (anyone remember those things?) at
the time. :-D

Yep, I remember those pay phones and having to have a pocket full of
coins. We would drive into town or to the closest gas station so we
could call home when we were up north during deer season. Now we have
to hike a quarter mile to find the right tree to stand under for a
signal good enough to make a cell phone call. Or, we end up driving
half way to town or almost to the gas station to find a signal.

Ah, progress.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems but it will annoy
enough people to be worth the effort.

Try connecting your cell to the car with the charger that goes into the
lighter plug
The chord will act as an antenna, increasing your connectivity range

I will have to keep that in mind the next time I am up at the cabin
or even driving somewhere where the signal gets weak. A wall charger
comes with the phones but we have to beg for a free car charger.

I've usually been able to find one for about $10
Since my last 3 phones had a USB port for charging and connecting to a PC, I
have a cigarette plug that has a USB port with the appropriate USB cable in
both family cars.

I will not even consider another cell phone that does NOT have a USB port.
