I do not know what a "center shot", but I can tell you what a novice is.
It's someone who believes everything they read on the network. Much of
what you read is opinion. The only way you'll know if there is anything
wrong with your bow is to try it out, YOURSELF. If then, you don't like
it, trade it in on a different make/model. Shooting a bow is not an exact
science. What works for one shooter may not for another. What I do
remember about my archery days is practice, practice, practice.

Center shot is a cut out in the bows rest area that enables you to have
more clearance for your arrow to fly thru. It is C shaped and provides
more area for you fletch to fly without hitting the bow. I had a Warthog
Magnum as a kid and it is a good bow regardless of not being a center
shot bow. There are many rests out there that cadre to this style of bow
and while it is not the most technical bow out there, it will do the job
in the field. I used the TM Hunter rest with the hockey stick attachment
and cushion plunger. If your bow is setup and tuned properly, you can
shoot just as well as any center shot bow in your hands.
