Returning from a frustrating afternoon of bow hunting over the border in
PA where I had a forkhorn at 10 yards in my crossbow scope but could not
take him because he was one point shy, I was making a left turn back in
Delaware at a light when I saw a flash of a deer running at me bouncing
off my front right bumper. Not a second to do anything. Made turn, saw
damage and called in to police and insurance company.

Notice the clump of hair on the right side of picture.
I could have picked up the deer as road kill little one but there was a
lot of traffic and I really don't want road kill anyway.
Talking to hunters the next day, one said he was going to pick it up for
his dogs. The police had just dragged it into bushes off the road.
The deer had come out of a bank parking lot. There is a nearby golf
course and a Delaware park and rut has deer on the move.
