I know Remington recommends only letting a qualified gunsmith do it.
What else could they say considering the legal liability and the
absurdity of jury awards these days? I like to do my own smithing and
take full responsibility for my actions. Please only answer the
question and refrain from telling my why I shouldn't try it. I've done
it before. I would just like to find another copy of the instructions.
