If you haven't shot a bow before, I would highly recommend your local
archery shop rather than just reading about it. There is a lot to fitting a
bow. You need someone knowledgable to watch you and suggest proper ways to
hold and draw. Also, don't fall into the high power trap early on. You
will be able to practice much more with a lighter bow. You can decide later
to move up if you want to.
