Ich bin Zuchter DD, und ein Jaeger. Ich bin 'vom Dixie Drahthaars', im Griffin,
Georgia, USA.
Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht- so I will try English, instead.

I'm happy to finally hear from another Drahthaar person, especially one from
Germany. I was
wondering if anyone over there was involved in computers and dogs both. You
should look at my

I'm a member of the Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar/Group North America. I came to
Germany last
October, to the Hegewald in Husum, Schweisig-Holstein. Were you at the test,
also? I watched
the field work on the island of Pellworm, out in the Nordsee. Your hasen are
much larger than
the rabbits we must do tracking work on here in the USA.

I've had two Drahthaars, the old dog was from the Reiler Hals
kennels, and the younger (present) dog is the 'nephew' of
my old dog. I have only the young dog (the older dog
having gone to my brother) and I use him for general
rough shooting of Niederwild (walked up with a shotgun)
and also for tracking roe deer (Rehwild).
