Saw one on the outdoor channel yesterday hunting squirrels with a couple of
guys. They are small (25 lbs?) and look like oversized jack russell terriers
or rat terriers. They were using them for squirrels. short docked tail.

A fiest is to the best of my knowledge a cross between a terrier and a
pointer (for the nose). As indicated, they are used for squirrels,
frequently, a fiest is let out along a road and is followed by truck until
the dog cuts a track and trees the squirrel. I just saw an article about
this type of dog and will pass on breeder info to those interested.
