I'm thinking of getting a beagal. I have heard of a bread called
the "brush beagal". Supposedly this breed is the same as the
common beagal, except it doesn't grow as large. Has anyone
ever heard of these creatures. If so what have you heard,
reguarding behavior, intellegence, availability, etc?

YOU ARE REFERRING TO Beagals that are no more than 12-13 inches tall at
the shoulders. Actually, any good interested Beagal worth its salt,
even if 15-16 inches at the shoulders, isn't going to let 2 inches of
extra height from stopping him from plunging into thorn and thickets
after Brair Rabbit. (And the 'Brush' won't know the difference either)
