Roopy: Kangaroo piss.

'Gee' was an 18th. Century command to a horse to move faster, as in 'Gee
up!' So at some time, children must have heard riders shouting 'Gee! Gee!'
to their horses and adopted it as a funny name for the horse itself.
It would also have become popular because when making the eee sound, a
person smiles slightly, and this works in reverse and makes them feel
happier - something well-used by advertisers, a good example being a washing
up liquid that was said to leave your glasses 'squeaky-clean.' So mums and
dads when they show off by using the slogan, find themselves feeling a
little happier, subconsciously accociate the feeling with the product, and
buy it without really wanting to.
Advertisers might be total and absolute bastards, but they're *clever* total
and absolute bastards!
There. A stone-cold sensible reply for a change.
Not even on solid fuel for camping stoves?
If you talk to them about Vegetarianism and Veganism like I used to on
demos, you'll find a lot of farmers are far more wooden than their
animals! - and as thick as pigshit too!
Big horse G means horse as in my last reply, being a bookmakers' and Cockney
abbreviation of the children's slang term 'Gee Gee'. Innit?!!
This'll make yer cringe. Up to the age of five (1952), myself and my parents
lived in rooms in Sandwich Street, Kings Cross and there was no bathroom.
No-one in the building had a bathroom in fact. So once a month when it was
our turn, a big steel bath provided by the landlord was taken off its nail
in the back yard and brought inside and every saucepan, pot, kettle etc. we
had was put on the gas stove and old solid fuel range to boil, the bath was
filled up and the three of us took turns! Me, my mum, then my dad!
No shower gels, no deodorants, just a bar of carbolic soap a flannel and a
sponge - BUT no present-day skin allergies and respiratory tract irritation
from perfumes either - because there weren't any, and I don't remember
epidemics of spots and skin complaints because of lack of bathing either.
Boy, the cosmetics industry have conned a hell of a lot of money out of a
hell of a lot of people since then by making everyone socially paranoid
about unnecessary hygiene!!
. . . pouring down an Italian cliff? I hope there's-a no-one
under-a neath trying to avalanche!
Bone narrow! In your arm, it can stop you becoming an archer!
If Trance wasn't full of Trench people, it'd be a nice place to go on
holiday!
And they're all old and rusty. Not agnew one amongst them!

That's Salad Din! His Ahmed Car from the Crusades made a very loud noise of
fresh vegetables being crushed!
I can't get over the fact that Crusader knights riding mares went into
battle against Salad Din's lot who were mounted on stallions in the middle
of the horsey mating season!!! *Imagine!!*
:o))))))))))))))))))))))))
