I am terribly sorry that I offeneed anyone and I realized it was a
mistake posting the joke...only too late. I am absolutly not racist
because I happen to have a few black friends, yes friends, and a couple
Vietnamese friends. (all were not offended by the joke either.
In conclusion, I AM NOT A RACIST! and I am sorry for offending anyone.
I have posted a formal apology, no you can keep your peeves w/me to
yourself.

The problem is not that you are offensive. The problem is that nothing I
have seen you post is the least bit funny. Try to post again after you

In response to your juvinile analogy,
Not in the least. I don't want it, so I won't do it, but my stepdad
probably does, so he will. I'll not think less of him for it, either.
What I was originally saying was that I didn't find it funny, but if others
do then it should be posted here. It's still a joke, for God's sake. Don't
condemn people just because their sense of humor is different from yours.
And if the joke was fine for you, and you're just baiting me, well, I bit.
The original poster of the joke disclaimed his actions by saying that he was
not a racist. By his definition, he doesn't discriminate against any race.
He can, however, possess a broad sense of humor that includes material of
what some might consider a questionable nature.
If you have more input on this, email me personally, and we'll spare everyone
the ensuing noise.

Sigh. I know I'm going to regret this, but..
I thought it was mildly amusing, albeit in rather poor taste.
I didn't find it particularly offensive. It didn't poke fun
at any of the characteristics of the racial groups mentioned;
the humour (such as it was) in the joke came from the sounds
of the slang words used to identify the racial groups.
Another joke recently posted to this group that shows the
same source of humour (albeit at the expense of women rather
than racial groups) was the "Lone Ranger" joke
(titty bum, titty bum, titty bum bum bum ...).
And I'm sure people can remember others. Just think back to
when you were six or seven, and just using certain words
was automatically funny. Or listen to Robin Williams, who
still seems to have this belief.
