A long time ago in a far far place a man by the name of Elroy
was born to an affluent family. The father was an avid golf player
so as a birth gift he gave his new son a set of golf clubs and some
golf balls. The son was to grow to be a prosperous golf player and
so he did. But he had one strange desire in his life, that of
owning green golf balls.
When he turned one his father asked him what he wanted for his
birthday and in a childish voice he asked for a green golf ball.
As any loving father would do he went out and find a green golf
ball for his son. His son played with the ball for a couple of
days and then put it in a shoebox.
When Elroy turned two his father asked him what he wanted for
his birthday and he asked for another green golf ball. Again his
father went to a store and bought Elroy his green golf ball. Elroy

box with the other green golf ball.

By this time elroy had become an accomplished golf player and
decided to go pro. Soon he won his first tournament and his father

asked for a green golf ball. He played with the new ball for a
couple of days and then put it in the box with his other green golf

Soon Elroy find himself a woman and they got married. As a
wedding present he was asked by his father what he wanted and he
said he wanted a green golf ball. After playing with his wife, he
played with his green golf ball for a couple of days and then put
it in the box with the other golf balls.
The years rolled by and Elroy was now a father. His father
asked what he wanted as a present in honor of his new baby. And
Elroy asked for a green golf ball. He played with the green golf
ball for a couple of days and then put it in the box with the other
golf balls.
Meanwhile Elroy's career was going very well and he won the
players classic. His proud father offered a gift of anything that
he wanted and he again asked for a green golf ball. He played with
his green golf ball for a couple of days and then put it in the box
with the other green golf balls.
Unfortunately, Elroy was involved in a terrible auto accident
on his way back from the club and found himself in the hospital.
He was shaken up pretty bad and was slipping in and out of coma.
His father, fearing that Elroy may die, asked his son why he always
wanted a green golf ball whenever he asked him for a gift.
Elroy, in a weak voice, responded "I always wanted a green
golf ball because... because..." and he dies.

A pox upon you! A pox upon you! That was the worst,
most-anti-climactic joke I've ever wasted thirty screens scrolling
though! The fact that I was gullible enough to scroll though so many
screens is funnier than that!
